I recommend this item. It's well made and it does the job, but I have never worn this (or any other skull crusher) for more than about half an hour without developing the "skull crusher headache". Mounting on a helmet is more comfortable and more stable. But wearing a helmet isn't always practical for hunting, hiking, etc. So there really aren't a lot of other good choices.
Pros: Lightweight, stays on, good mounting hardware, easy to use, hands free for night vision.
Cons: Tough on the neck muscles.
