Very cheaply made. Tested it with paper inside and was not waterproof. Didn’t want to tighten too much, sounded like it was gonna crack. Compass did not work well at all. Did not try the striker. Probably only good for basic small storage and whistle. Striker looks like it would work.

Great product and like the 5 in 1 features included.....like that whistle is built into this item. This item is reasonably priced and is a great Christmas stocking stuffer idea for the avid outdoorsman!

Nice DRY storsge for your survival kit matches and a nice whistle

I got this product for both mine and my son's survival kits we take with us when we are hunting in unknown areas. Plenty of room for "strike anywhere" matches and the shrill whistle is a nice added feature. I would not trust the small cheapo compass to do the job, but again I got this tool for my matches.
