glued acrylic bezel
The compass works fine but the swivel bezel is held in place by two plastic posts. Im expecting this to break after a few outings. This product should be sold on amazon not the quality i would expect from optics planet

Great compass, no lanyard
On the back of the box, it says it comes with an attached lanyard. There was no lanyard. I'm not sure if this is why you get "deals" at Optics Planet - because parts are missing. It also took a month to ship. But, the compass turns to north and the needle is not shaky like a cheap one. It runs smooth and accurate. I'll drill a small hole in it and run some 550 paracord through it for the lanyard.
