Chief Batteau
Operates intermittently at best. Cord extremely short. Not sure when fully charged. I will return this TekFire lighter for a replacement lighter and give it another try. The big thing here is why don’t we all purchase Bic lighters and forget this survival business.

Works At Altitude
This is one of those things that works when you need it to, at altitude in wet and windy conditions. Unlike my Zippo brand lighter, there is no fuel that always seems to have evaporated. And while I wouldn't dare submerge it, it's rubber coating and no-wick mechanism means that it ignites tinder in wet and windy conditions that make using an LPG-based lighter or matches so frustrating. It's not my only ignition source, but it's pretty darn cool.
