Lowest rail available for the mp5 (and clones) platform
buy with confidence, this is the best aftermarket rail available for mp5 and similar clones. picatinny section sits lower than MFI low mount, further back so you have more clearance for use of the charging handle (especially on mp5k variants), and is super light weight. The mounting system is well thought out and aside from functioning as desired this mountjust looks good. buy with confidence!

#1 Best Upgrade for Your MP5 or Clone
Once mounted, and torqued to spec, this rail becomes one with your gun. I mounted a Scalarworks 1.57” riser, with an Aimpoint ACRO C-2, and it’s solid! Like welded on solid. The rail itself is very low profile, and does not interfere with the iron sights at all. The only thing that I can’t quite figure out is, my Vortex magnifier, with a QD mount, will not go on. Am I missing something? Operator error? I’m at a loss, on that one. But, in the end, I can’t fault UTG with this minor issue. 5/5 stars! Easily! Don’t waste money on anything else! This thing is perfect.

The pic rail installed really easy. I’ve only put about 150 rounds through it, but it seems to be holding well.

Cannot think of a better designed claw mount
Works perfectly with the original SIG MSR. I have a completely clear field of view with the red dot, and if I am in a bad situation (hopefully that never happens) the iron sights are also usable and unobstructed at all times. With this setup on my AP5SD, I have two different sighting methods at all times independent of each other. The mount is light yet sturdily built, and installation is much easier than other claw mounts I have tried. The price is right. I would recommend this over any other method of mounting a red dot to an MP5 variant.

Had to make a little bit of fitting adjustments.
Mine was a little twisted. Had to put screwdriver underneath it while on the MP five and lift up and screw in. I had to do this on 2 of the attachments for lining up. I don’t have a clone I have an actual HNKMP5 but I got it on after the aggravation. If the screw holes were flared for the claws, it would’ve been a great help..
I’m sure this is one out of the thousand I know things happen but I cannot recommend it on my experience, but I’m sure it will be fine for everybody else

best mount for my sp5k
I tried the Midwest industries mount and hated it.. very hard to install, sits way too high. The UTG Pro mount is perfect.. easy to install, solid build quality and sits low so I can still see my iron sights through my Scalarworks mount. I highly recommend the UTG.

Easy to install, seats firmly and lower profile than I thought it would be. you can easily still use the irons if you red dot/scope has a see through riser.
