more secure than the HK mount
I purchased an HK claw mount for my SP5K and I could never properly torque it down because there was enough deflection that it would pop off from the lugs. It works fine on my SP5 but I needed to find a replacement. The UTG design engages with the lugs more directly and securely. So the HK mount is cool when it works and has the “HK” logo etched on it. But the UTG is lighter, more secure and costs 1/4 the price.

Just got mines and installed it. Sadly in very disappointed ,Screws dont line up with the studs or claws w/e their called. As of right only two screws managed to grab and hold the rail to my Mp5. I aint banging up my Mp5 for this

Superior claw mount for your MP5
This is a much better design for a claw mount for your MP5 platform. Perfect fit on the Zenith ZF5.

Great way to add a picatinny rail to your MP5.
This picatinny rail tat to the top of your MP5 is not the longest, but with a smaller weapon like the MP5, it can't be. It is fairly easy to add to your setup with a little bit of time and thought, it can be done in about a minute. I'm using it to host a Red Dot and magnifier setup, and so far it has maintained zero very well. I do suggest using Blue loctite to keep it in place.

UTG Pro Extended Picatinny Claw Mount for MP5 / MP5K
Superb fit and finish. Very low rail height - comparable to welded on pic rails. Very easy to install. Gone are the clunky, blocky pic rails for this platform. It also includes an extra lug and screw.

The Beat MP5 optic mount hands down
Don’t sleep on this mount. If you’ve ever tried installing literally any other brand of mount you know how frustrating and difficult it is to get on with the tiny beveled lock nuts.. Not this one. UTG changed the mounting system to a different rounded insert type of lock nut that is probably the best I’ve ever used. Also it’s very low profile so you can co-witness easier, solid construction and light. UTG has definitely stepped up their game over the last few years. I highly recommend this mount.

UTG Pro Extended Picatinny Claw Mount for MP5 / MP5K
I installed this mount on an MKE AP5SD. This is the only mount that I have found so far that actually shows the entire MKE serial number. HK serial numbers are placed differently. This mount would show either makers serial number. Very easy to install, and it comes with a spare lug and screw. It's almost as low as a PTR welded on pic rail. Beautifully made, flawless fit and has a streamlined look missing on other HK platform rails.
I will be buying more of these to retrofit my other MKE MP5 family of weapons.
