By far the best optics mount for mp5 type weapons (9mm) - UTG Pro H&K MP5/MP5K Extended Picatinny Claw Mount

I looked EVERYWHERE and purchased four different mounts that I didn't like. Some didn't even match the recoil lugs on the top of the receiver, and some were too sharply machined to skin my knuckles when operating the charging handle. Some were just pain to install, some other ones I didn't consider because they were ridiculously expensive. Read a LOT about the ones that acted like a can opener (even some expensive ones) to the receiver (punched right through the sheet metal). I finally found the perfect one! It's long enough that I can mount my RDS way back from the ejection port (I don't like my RDSs to sit directly above the port), beveled edges on the front (safe for my knuckles), and absolutely ingenious mounting system that was easy to install. Safe and sturdy mounting system that will not damage the receiver (paint of course will be affected under the mount but that's the nature of the HK mounting system). I wholeheartedly recommend this mount. Optics Planet had the best price on the web, and with free shipping.
