Not exceptional, but adequate.
Small plates that sit behind the mount to allow for a more flush fit to the receiver are quite awkward and like to slip out during installation. Not well thought out. Shell saddle has two issues. Easy install on Rem 870 Express
Excellent fit, easy installation, nice and low on the receiver. The caddie sits a bit far off the mount and is a little distracting. I chose not to use it. The pic rail is nice and is the perfect accessory to mount a red dot to my Remington 870 Express.

My area is shotgun only, so I added a red dot to the mount and dialed it in to 50 yards with slugs. I do recommend.

When I first ordered this mount, I didn’t know it would take about two months to receive this mount which I really couldn’t understand. It was very easy to mount and was a perfect fit on my weapon. I would highly recommend this mount.

great fit and look
I put this on my rem 870 12 ga. It went on in under 10 minutes and fit perfectly- very solid and great for a red dot. If you’re not someone who has worked on very many guns- don’t fret this is an easy add. Couple taps with a punch, pins come right out, the mount slides right on and then the pins tap right back in. The red dot mounts right on with a picatinny mount and is very solid, no wiggling.
