The ejection port door is much nicer than I expected. When looking at the pictures, I thought this would be a really thin part. It's actually fairly thick at 0.0530" thick. The part is mostly flat but near the hinge is a raise angular strip across the edge that acts like a stop for the door when it's open. The finish is polished bare metal I think. It weights 1-2 grams less than typical AR-10 ejection port doors so there is a weight savings too. Anyways, I got this door and the titanium rod. It was installed on a V Seven bare 308 upper. I and am very pleased with the products. All the V Seven parts I have bought have been very well made and innovative.
