Slick and Clean Appearence, VERY Lightweight; Fits Aero Precision M4E1 Upper
I wanted an ejection port door that would compliment the "top-of-the-line" look to my M4E1 upper/Radian AX556 Lower build I'm assembling. I ordered the "Air" version because it was the lightest of the three port door options offered by V Seven, and likely the lightest ejection port door for the AR-15 market as of right now. My setup includes: Aero M4E1 upper, Radian AX556 Lower, BCM BCG. So far I have no issues closing or opening this ejection port with this specific setup.

Gucci Build
Originally I wanted the Air version but Designer was cheaper so I decided I’d rather save a few bucks. I’m glad I did, the Designer dust cover compliments my V7 upper and V7 Diamond forward assist perfectly. The dust cover is very lightweight in comparison to milspec components.

Perfection
I have the designer style on 2 of my rifles and the Strike Billet aluminum on another. While the Strike is well made, the V-seven is much..."cleaner". It sits much more flush and looks factory but with a nicer finish and design. The Strike one LOOKS like you were trying to add something custom and different. The V-seven also has a very positive, strong "click" when the detent keeps the door shut. These will get used for every build I do from now on!

V7 Ultra-Light Ejection Port Door
I bought a V7 Ultra-Light Ejection Port Door in 2014, and it's worked great for me. Never noticed a functional difference between this aluminum ejection port door and a standard steel ejection port door. The V7 Ultra-Light Ejection Port Door looks great and is about half the weight of a standard steel ejection port door.

Had a lot of V Seven parts on my build do I decided to pick this up to complete the look. As with all of their parts it did not disappoint! You can tell it’s well made. Lightweight and has an excellent finish on it. Fit perfect on their upper. It’s expensive for what it is, but I had to have it.
