Great tripod well built light weight very good quality adjustment are positive and easy to t adjust to any angle I would highly recommend this tripod I'm not photographer I'm using this tripod with my rifle for hog hunting at night and the weapon with ease

Vanguard Alta+ 263AP Aluminum Tripod with Panhead
This is the first quality tripod I've purchased. So far, it works as advertised. I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel T1i w/ this tripod and it holds the camera with zoom lens securely. Can be converted to macro photography easily, and Vertical and horizontal positioning is relatively smooth. There are several pan heads that can be purchased separately for use on this tripod. I would recommend this tripod to friends and those who are beginning photographers.
