Most Helpful Positive Review Great low tripod for heavy spotting scope
Holds a 5.5lb pound spotting scope with ease, stable, good product for the money, glad I ordered it.
Most Helpful Negative Review Good for small camera but not for spotting scope
Purchased to use with a bench spotting scope at a rifle range. The scope is subject to wind movement to the point of needing extra support at eyepiece end in order to reduce the vibration. Admittedly the scope was set to 50X magnification but I feel it is not solid enough for the purpose I had in...

Great tripod.

This is the ONE. If you use your spotting scope for the range and shoot off a table, get this one. When you are home and the kids want to see the birds, squirrels, ducks etc. from the kitchen table, this little tripod gets it done. Very easy to set up and good balance for the big boys spotting scopes. Smaller scopes fit and function great as well. Easy to pack for those day trips. Don’t wait, get one.
Pros:
  • small and compact
Cons:
  • None

Best Tripod for the Price ~ No Regrets!

by Tiggles, from VA, United States Written on March 14, 2021
This is completely sturdy for a bench rest setup. I'm running a Vortex Diamondback 20-60x and there's no question it can handle the weight. There's no real complaints at this price point and it's a great value for a fraction of the cost of most other tri-pods. Great starter set of legs if you're dipping your toes in the long range game on a budget.

This is the best little tripod... Very stable and compact, and variable height, added a quick connect head. AWESOME!!!!!!! You will be impressed with this product. I have a hawk 12-36x50 endurance spotting scope i also bought from optics planet, clearest optics for a compact scope, sitting atop this tripod!!!!!

This little tripod does exactly what it should do, steady the item placed on it. I bought it for my vortex 60x spotting scope to take to the shooting range and I could not be happier. Very good buy for the price.

Sturdy, stable, very pleased with the quality of this tripod.

by HinaMan, Verified Owner from HI, United States Written on November 27, 2017
Short, low profile, and sturdy. The legs do extend for an even more stable hold for bigger spotting scopes(tested with my 14" scope no problem). This tripod does not have any fine tuning knobs, and does not have a left/right tilting motion. Overall build quality is well worth the buy.
Pros:
  • compact
  • Sturdy construction
Cons:
  • No fine tuning adjustments
  • No tilt function left and right
Best Used for:
  • prone position
  • table top

Bought this to go with an unexpected over sized set of binoculars. Handled them like a pro!! Great control and easy adjustment while viewing. Surprised at the sturdy design and control for the price! Would be better if they extended just another inch or two higher.
Pros:
  • Strong
Cons:
  • short
Best Used for:
  • Tabletop
