Great for full size - Vaultek Safe LifePod 2.0 Full-Size, Weather Resistant Lockable Storage

I've got a couple of original LifePods, and while they're great for locking up my compact pistols when I'm barred from carrying one into a "gun free" location, they won't accommodate a full size pistol. In fact, this has enough capacity to lock up my P226 even when it's in its holster.

I didn't think I'd care about the interior light much, but the couple times I've transferred my gun, it's turned out to be very helpful.

The only downside as compared to the smaller LifePod is the finish. While the original had a smooth, glossy finish, this model I bought (red) is matte, and it shows scratches on the surface much more.
