So far, so good...
This sight uses the doctor/noblex footprint so it's the same as the Burris Fastfire and Venom sights at a fraction of the cost. It also does not use the stupid lock screws on some cheap sights that make adjustments a pain in the butt.
budget friendly pistol optic
It had the adjustability I needed to sight this in on a Rossi brawler using the picatinny mount and works fantastic for that.exceptional price and equally exceptional performance.

Best Bang For Buck Red Dot so far
This was the first Vector red-dot I ever purchased back in 2020. I have had this red-dot on my HD 12 Gauge Mossberg 500 for 4 years and besides replacing the battery once a year and re-zeroing with slugs, I haven’t had a single issue. I don’t own NVG’s so I can’t speak for the nightvision modes but for home defense/range use 9 or 10 times a year it is perfect. I’ve gotten 4 years out of mine and plan to keep it for at least another 4. That’s over 30 range trips and luckily ZERO hd use. Not bad for a $100 red dot.
Pros:
- Price
- Size
Cons:
- it is STILL a $100 red dot. do NOT recommend for duty/ military/ le use
Best Used for:
- Short range
- Home defense

Great mid-tier dot
I've bought 4 of these awesome little sights. 1 on my Mark IV Competition 22lr, 44 mag Raging Bull revolver, 44 mag Rossi R92 lever gun and S&W 460 XVR. I was a little worried it wouldn't be able to handle the recoil on the 460 but after hundreds of rounds, it's still solid and sighted. 44 mag is no problem and of course 22lr is a piece of cake. Highly recommended.

Inexpensive but impressive
I started out with the cheap, Field Sport dots which are great, reliable sights but just a bit bulky. I picked up 1 of these for my Ruger Mark IV Competition and loved it. Could it handle 460 magnum though? Why yes, yes it does. After 200 rounds, it's still attached and still zeroed in on my S&W 460. If that's not a testiment to the rugedness of this sight, then I don't know what is. By far my favorite red/green dot. I also run 1 on my Rossi R92 in 44 mag and will be grabbing another to put on my Taurus Raging Bull.

Very nice functional product
Mounts easily, very clear optic. Works great on a weaver mount on my 1911 .45. Very pleased, red dot is easily detected. 3 second hold to shut it off prevents me from rushing to shut off. I have to be aware of what I’m doing. So far I love it.
Pros:
- Works as expected
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- High power handgun

Vector Optics Frenzy Pistol 1x17x24 GenII Red Dot Sight
Like others, I bought this as a budget optic for my Keltec CP33. I own Trijicon RMRs, Aimpoints etc. This little sight is a steal at the price, and it works GREAT! I'm ordering another for my Ruger 22/45. Very solid, quality construction, nice glass, and bright, crisp dot. Comes with a nice little cover too. You cannot beat this for the price. I rarely leave product reviews but I had to with this one.
Pros:
- GREAT PRICE
- durable
- Quality
Cons:
- None

Good Choice
Perfect choice for a pistol optic at its price point. Holds zero well. Was easy to install. Purchased the plate from another company to mount the optic on. The combo is easy to conceal. This was the first time I purchased from Optics Planet and would do do again.

Great sight so easy!
My wife received a Kel Tec CP 33 for her birthday, a great gun but our aging eyes need a little help. So I found this sight. It mounted on the rail in seconds. Literally, seconds.
At the range I settled in to sight it in....and the first shot was an X! The next , in the same hole. All following shots , bullseyes. Not one adjustment needed!
I hope you have the same results!
Buy it! Shoot it! Have fun!

Clear, easy function
Put this one on my CAA MCK carbine conversion. Easy activate and easy to pick up reticles when shouldering firearm. Adjusts for all light conditions so far. The little rubber dust cover doesn't stay on worth a flip. Sighted well, nice price, let's see how it holds up.
