I find that everything promised is given. 1st I mounted and leveled scope with bubble levels on scope elevation and pic rail. 2nd True tested with a plum-bob to make sure reticle was centered not a few degrees off internally. Reticle, plum-bob string and bubble levels were PERFECT."That really impressed me". 3rd Performed vertical up/down tracking, then windage L/R. PASSED. All clicks felt/sounded of quality and repeatable. Cross hairs thin enough for precision and visible enough for dark targets with dark background (in good light). At X16 magnification all elevation marks are visible (huge plus for air gun guys) or hold over fans. Note: scope is mounted on a Savage B22 lite precision .22WMR. It is a good scope build, with good glass and repeatable. For this price you will be happy with no regrets. Or go pay $500-$3,000 . Note:I own ×2 Element Helix, ×2 Hawke Airmax/vantage, and ×2 pinty that are the rare good ones. That i base my opinion off of. Vary impressed with Vector Optics.

I purchased this Marksman 4-16x44 for my Savage Axis II and I feel I made a good choice. Went to the range today and sighted it in for the first time and was very pleased with the scope. I know 6.5 creedmore isn't supposed to be bad for recoil but I haven't shot a center fire cartridge in a long while. I was pleased to be able to reach out to 300 yards and be on target. Now I am considering mounting this scope on my Ruger precision grimoire 22 and getting the Marksman 6-24x50 for the 6.5. I recommended this brand to several people at the range today and feel for a scope in this price range, it is more than capable of holding its own against others costing three and four times more.
