I don't know why this is recommended. The QD mount was so flimsy that it wobbled even when locked down, the eye box is tiny on the scope, and there's no on/off. The wheel to change brightness was so stiff I can't imagine constantly using it to turn on/off unless you only ever flipped between the 0 and 11. Also, it chewed through a new battery in all of like 20 hours, whereas my other red dots have gone months without even dimming. Overall, it feels like I bought this off Amazon for $20, and not a reputable site for $150.

Seems well built and sturdy . Looks to me like Viridian was rebranding these magnifiers and the GDO red dots and inflating the price. Wish i had discovered they are the same product sooner .

I have tried many red dot sights over the last 15 years or so, ranging in price from $20-$500. For the price I paid for this sight, I am very pleased. PROS: solid, easily adjustable, uses T1/T2 mounts, minimal tint, looks good. CONS: QD mount is nice but a little heavy, emitter is more visible than in my more expensive sights.

Very nice design.............. dot kind of double small but not a pinpoint and left to right adjustment knob started wiggling after about 30 rounds...... couldn't have that but I really liked the design wonder if optic planet would send a new one?
Cons:
- adjustment knob l-r loose and wiggles

I honestly Wasn't expecting much for this red dot at this price point but it held zero fine on my budget build AR15 even if you toss the ar15 with the optic on the floor. clicks to adjust windage and elevation are firm and tight to be sure there's no accidental movement in the knobs.
Pros:
- price construction quality
- Price and install ease
