Does not fit Hellcat

Will not fit dovetail groove on non optic cut Hellcat. Considerably larger and would take alot of filing to make it fit if that is even possible.

Doesn’t fit snug

I tried using this on my Springfield XD 40 cal and it just doesn’t fit snug. There is a lot of wiggle even after pretty much stripping the screws (by tightening so hard) between the plate and the piece that goes where the dove tail sight was. Then if you try to firm it up by having longer screws on the dot sight mount, it angles the plate up. A waste of $20, bc I can’t return bc of wearing out the screws.

A base for later use

Although I'm new to customization, the plate did not match my XDM elite 10mm. I will say though, based on the design and mounting hardware. The base is very well designed and has some fairly sturdy studs. 10/10 build quality for the lucky XD M owners.

  • Excellent build quality
Cons:
  • dis not match my mount
Best Used for:
  • XD/XD M not the XD M elite optics ready
