Batteries not included
Batteries was not included, so I had to get those separately. User manual was useless, and no indication to which side goes up. The optic seems bright, has auto brightness and seems to do well in the sunlight. It does not turn off, but goes into low power consumption mode. Hope the battery will last. The 80 MOA adjustment is nice, but there are no clicks.
Good product
This red dot is quite functional. Numerous brightness settings. Shake awake/motion settings with a on and off mode ( in the instructions) easy mounting and removal. Priced excellent with optics planet outstanding shipment processing and customer service. You can’t get a better value anywhere.

No battery and very dim
Well, even though the box said there should have been a battery, there wasn’t. Solid and compact sight but completely unusable outside, and barely usable inside. Brand new battery installed and brightness set as high as possible and i could only see the dot in an unlit room against a dark background.
