I have this on two of my ARs. It's a great stock if you want that the traditional look with a modern update. The good, it's very solid and even though it appears to be gray, once you put oil on it, it turns to a flat black and matches the rifle ( I was incorrect in my first review saying it's gray). The bad, the provided screw is to short. You will need to purchase a second screw ( $7) that has a drain hole. This screw is 1/4" longer. I didn't know there were two different lengths of screws until I did a deep dive on the internet to find why my screw was not threading. A $200 stock should have both screws provided.
