Most Helpful Positive Review Great universal holster
The versa carry regardless of which size is a great universal holster for your caliber. Designed to be ambidextrous and very simple. Maybe a little too simple, the holster needs to be broken in very well to be able to draw. Otherwise the holsters retention makes it hard. Although the holster works for every firearm of the same caliber, it works best with a flat gun. If your firearm doesn't have a flat slide this holster will cause wear and rub off the coating on certain parts on the slide.

With the right gun

by Master Cylinder, from WA, United States Written on April 28, 2018
I have three. One for my Bersa Thunder, ones for my S&W Shield 9mm, and 45 acp. Love them. On these skinny framed guns, you don't even know they're there. I am heavy and have "done-laps" disease, so finding an IWB holster that would work was something I'd given up on. The only drawbacks so far is that the stippling on the S&W Shield 45 is very rough, so it wears and tears my hide when sitting down, and reholstering is a pain until you work it out (as in the mens's room at an store where you don't want to drop it when in a stall). Considering the price, ease of draw and security, I hardly ever leave home without one. You can do better, but not at this price by a long shot.
Pros:
  • cost; comfort; drawability
Cons:
  • re-holstering; gun surface exposed to body
Best Used for:
  • thin framed pistols
Would recommend: Yes
