Deceptive dimensions provided by Vertx
First, this is not Optics Planet's fault. Vertx's provided dimensions are just wrong.
I bought this on sale on DVOR.com. The dimensions provided there and here are exactly those provided on the packaging by Vertx -- "7"H x 4"W x2"D". Wrong.
The height is more like 6" (6.5" if you stuff it to the brim and use maximum flap, but 6"is more natural). The width is more like 3", and that's not stretchable. The depth is only 2"if you scrunch it sideways, in which case the width is less than 3".
What misled me the most is that I thought those were internal dimensions, and I'd definitely bought this to hold a cell phone -- good luck getting anything in it in today's tech beyond a flip phone.
With that said, manufacture is excellent and looks crazy-durable, and the price was right. So, while I won't be using it for what I'd planned, it will be great holding a standard multi-tool or other gun-related portable multi-tool.
