Quality product with a couple issues. - Vertx Phantom Mini Ripstop Mens Shorts

This is my second set of vertx shorts. I have the original version and they are strong/durable for everyday-ware. My main objections are the size, rough texture, and pocket design.

My previous pair were 35W, I purchased 36W this time and it feels smaller than first pair. The flex waist helps but it only stretches probably .5-1 inches.

Due to the nature of the material (ripstop fabric) the texture isn't as soft as i wish it was. My skin is generally semi-sensitive, but after 8 hrs in 113 degree heat the tops of my calves were red from irritation from these shorts. This is probably a more extreme example but it was still worth noting.

Don't expect to keep your change in your pockets, with the pocket design (great for carrying a folder knife) your pocket change will fall out 80% of the time that you sit down.

Regardless, these shorts look good, I love how you can fit 2 pmags in the cargo pockets and seem to be extremely durable. Not bad for $40ish dollars.
