This thing was a game changer on a 7.5" 7.62x39 Ar I built. Had a bird cage on it for a long time. My favorite part is the fire. But it feels like you're shooting a 5.56 now. I recommend it for any of your 30cal needs. Next it will be for my 12.5 .308.

Does not thread onto rilfle cleanly looks slightly off at the TMS due to positioning.Same results with and without the provided spacer. Otherwise a good muzzle break that stays CA compliant. Over all good quality part. I will buy this again on my next build.

Aero Precision is one of the finest manufacturers of AR parts in the industry, so you can buy with confidence. On my first AR build, I replaced a standard bird cage muzzle device with the VG6 and I was wowed by the difference (as was my son-in-law who is my shooting coach & a 10 year SWAT veteran). The muzzle rise was virtually eliminated, making follow up shots much faster with improved accuracy. My son-in-law was so impressed he swapped in this muzzle device on all of his non-suppressed ARs. When I built my 300 blackout pistol, I knew I would go with this device and I am just as happy with it on the 300 as I am with the AR 5.56. I will eventually swap it for a suppressor on the pistol, knowing I will be adding a 300 rifle to my collection at a later date which this will go on. One thing to note: it is designed for recoil mitigation & flash hiding, NOT suppression, so don’t expect to be one of the quieter people at the range.

Watched u-tube for correct installation, very pleased with performance. Almost completely reduced muzzle flip the only negative side effects extremely noisy,must wear hearing protection. Will purchase one for the 223-556 cal.�

I have this on a 300 Blackout with a 8” barrel - allows for quick follow up shots. Fit, finish and craftsmanship are top notch. It was shipped very quickly, which is appreciated now days. I would not use on a busy range.

Fits my rifle perfectly and works very well. I have several other brands and it is comparable to any I have used. Helps bring the sight picture back quickly. It is a bit loud if you are sitting beside the shooter. I would advise shooting it at an outdoor range!

This muzzle break works great, as expected and fits perfectly with zero issues.
This muzzle break was purchased specifically for a new 300 Blackout build and screwed on to the barrel with no problems at all.

Fit, finish and quality are what I've come to expect from VG6: excellent-to-extraordinary. Install was as expected on a 300BLK build; no issues whatsoever with threads or timing. Snug, perfect fit. I love that this was specifically engineered for 300BLK, since there are precious few type-specific brake/comps on the market for this application. Based on my experiences with this device in 5.56 form factor, my expectations are high.

Installed on a 14.7” 5.56 barrel that came with 5/8x24 threads. Gun shoots very flat making follow shots a breeze. Recoil reduction is excellent. I know there are probably a few other products that do a little better at reducing recoil but they cost almost twice as much. It’s loud, but so are Harleys and everyone thinks that’s cool! My buddy commented on how “throaty and bad@$$” it sounded at the range and has decided to get himself one as well. Build quality is excellent. I’ll likely be purchasing two more for my other AR setups.

I would have gave this muzzle brake 10 stars if I could have. Swapped out my A2 bird cage flash hider for the vg6 gamma and it really compliments the look of the rifle. The recoil reduction is absolutely amazing. I have a AR pistol 300 blackout and it fires so much flatter now. It is now flat, fast, accurate and lethal as All American 6 says. If you looking for a muzzle brake upgrade definitely look into the VG6 GAMMA.
