I fell for marketing and influencers. That's on me.
This doesn't do anything an a2 birdcage can't, unless you are pin&welding. There's no noticeable difference at all in flash/recoil.
Save your inflated federal reserve debt notes for ammo and magazines.
Does the job
I put it on a 14.5" barrel, pinned and welded. And I'm very pleased.
The end is tight (just more than 5.56mm), not open like a birdcage. This forces more gas out the top and side slides and does a good job of mitigating muzzle climb. It also makes the device Massachusetts compliant because it is not a flash hider.
I have one also on my 16" barrels, but the shorter version.

Vg6 Delta flash hider
Installed this on my 11.5” aero precision build, it’s nothing more than a luxurious A2 birdcage flash hider, looks a lot nicer and mitigates the concussion, with a shorter barrel, compared to the Vg6 gamma and epsilon, I wouldn’t pay full price for this, but it’s not to bad when bought on sale. It does its job, you can’t compare this to a muzzle brake, but works well as a flash hider
