One of the best compensator/flash hider combos - VG6 Precision AR-15 Epsilon Muzzle Device

I have tried tons and tons of brakes and compensators. All sub-$100. I refuse to spend more than that on a simple muzzle device. Off all the ones I've tried there are two that stand out. This one and the MI 2-port. I've settled on these two for ALL my guns, 9MM PCC, 5.56 and 6.5CM, depending on the barrel finish. The Nitride barrels get this one and the phosphate ones get the MI. This one costs a bit more than the MI but is also much more refined with the Nitride finish. I use these on my competition guns, and both allow me to multi-tap and stay right on target. Yes, of course, they are louder than an A2 or 3-prong flash hider, but the performance is just amazing. I currently have 3 of these, two for 5.56 and one on my 6.5CM and I'm not laying down $150 for some mythical claims or space-age looking design. Save your money. These work!
