Been wearing and running in Vibram 5 Fingers since 2013 and loved every minute! Follow the manufacturers transition program from regular shoes and you too will enjoy the benefits of these shoes. Also, very impressed with the online store Optics Planet. They had the best price and free shipping. The shoes arrived in 2 days! I’m a very satisfied customer and will be buying my next pair of 5 Fingers from them in about a year.

I was super excited to get these shoes when I ordered them. Getting them on was a challenge. Apparently I have odd shaped feet and my fourth toes do not extend out as far as the others, which you can't tell by looking at them, but once the shoe is on there is a lot more room in these toes than all the other toes and no room at all in the big toe. I did not want to give up on them so once they were on I spent the day walking around a museum (6 hrs). The big toe on my right foot was a little uncomfortable, but for the most part, the shoes were comfortable.
Before the second time I wore them, I cut and filed my toenails and the shoes had semi-formed to the shape of my foot so they were easier to put on and way more comfortable. They have been getting easier to put on each time I wear them as they are retaining the shape of my foot and since I have been keeping my feet pedicured, the shoes are very comfortable. They are unlike regular shoes, make my foot look ridiculous when looking down at them, and take awhile to adjust to but the more i wear them the more I like them.
