Good for average person
These knives are small,discreet, non threatening etc. they are good for everyday chores and uses and can help you out in an emergency if needed. That being said, they are what they are..a light weight, useable tool that will not sustain sever abusive use. Use them for what they are designed to do and they will never let you down. I own (6), they are in my packs, go bags, etc...better to have a knife any knife then none at all, and these are more useful than most.

Christmas Gift
nice basic knife for all around usage outside. saw is very sharp and great for small limbs. needs some texture on the scales for a better grip. holds an edge well. I have had a lot of Victorinox knives over the years and have never had the blades loosen.
