If I could only have one tool, this would be it.
My wife bought me this multi tool about 3 yrs ago. It's designed to never rust or corrode and I can assure you it won't. All of the tools are extremely well made, nothing loose or funky feeling. You can shave with the knife, strip wires, whatever.
I used it in an industrial setting in maintenance. This tool and a flashlight? You can get some things done. As I said in the title, this would be the single best tool I would want in a SHTF scenario or lost in the woods. Seriously, why? Because if you know how to use tools and how to make what you need, this multi can fill that order and get you to the next level. But it's lightweight, durable and has what you need.
And yes, I would prefer this over any Leatherman.

Pros:
- It's a workhorse
Cons:
- Be careful around electricity because it is not insulated
- I don't recommend this to anyone who might be fired upon like military personnel because this is polished stainless steel and will draw the eye if light hits it.
Best Used for:
- Any situation where you need tools but don't have a toolbox with you.
Would recommend: Yes
