Had this exact model since 2001. Used it hundreds of times on a cattle ranch in Western Neveda. Great tool ! The grandaughter and her boyfriend like to camp and were asking me about it, so I gave it to her. Now I just ordered another one. Keeping this one for sure.

I have had this tool for nearly nine years through deployments in Iraq and Kosovo. Being a Tanker this tool was used multiple times a day from opening oil cans to other odds and ends. I have owned many different multitools from leatherman to Gerber and so on. This is the multi I still have at my side many years later. The paint logo is gone but the memories and my initials are still there.
The tools opening from the closed position offers a lot more comfort when using the pliers. The tool does not have the ridges that the majority of other similar multitools have when trying to tighten down on a bolt. The overall craftsmanship is great. If you have owned a Gerber, Letherman, etc they feel light and clumsy. Especially with the locking of blades and tools. This tool weighs more but feels more balanced. Never will own another multi in my life.
Pros: Solid construction and tools are able to be opened when tool is closed
