Comfy, rugged, but my zipper failed. - Viktos Johnny Combat OPS Boot

I've put about 200 miles on these boots. They fit like a sneaker. The flexible upper fits around my foot comfortably and securely. The laces are paracord and feature metal binders on the ends. The zipper in the back is advertised to ease the struggle of donning and removing the boots, and they do that, but the zippers on both of my boots blew out after about 50 miles of walking and mild hiking. On one boot, a tooth became loose and popped right off, the other has all it's teeth, but the teeth will burst open anytime I walk in them. This could be my fault due to improper tightening of the laces or even just my gait, but the zipper is a feature I could do without overall. I haven't contacted Viktos about this issue because I like the boots overall and would recommend them to anyone considering their relatively affordable price.
