I bought the Coyote version for work as an investigator. After wearing for one week, the nylon fabric along the middle of the tongue is fraying or pulling apart. It kind of looks like my pair were seconds or defective. They should not start falling apart after one week. I like the fit, lightweight, looks and the sole design is one of the best I’ve ever had.

These boots are very comfortable. They breath well but will still keep your feet dry. The color is nice. More of a foliage green than an OD green, but they look really cool. A great modern looking combat boot. They come up past your ankles but not too high. High enough to give you good ankle support. Highly recommend.

Attached is a pic of my Johnny combat multicam black boots. By far my absolute favorite. (I wear them to work everyday). Today I was working in my garage and I was using a saw (pictured) to cut a plastic bin. It went right through it like butter obviously, but it was going so fast and I wasn't paying attention to my foot position. It came down on my boot and I will swear by it, up and down that these well made boots saved my foot! And when I say it came down hard,ninjas expecting to feel teeth coming through the boot. I was almost mentally accepting it haha. The pics are after I attempted to fix them up the best I could, it was frayed pretty bad so used some flame to singe off, it looked way worse when it happened. With that said I have to give kudos to the craftsmanship of these boots! I've been through 3 pairs that wore out (thats how much I wear them) so I am very familiar with them. Job well done on this material and I am a firm believer in the fact that without the perfect craftsmanship of this boot my foot my be in half! It hit unbelievably hard and stood the punishment! The only downfall is I have to buy new ones now, but I still have my foot! I just wanted to take this time to let you guys know some real life situations with your product. I knew they were good (or else I wouldn't have been back) but after today, I am in shock. Well done gentlemen, and thanks for the awesome product!

I usually wear minimalist boots made by Tactical Research but these don’t come up to far on my ankle and are very comfortable. I wish they came in a wide size. I swapped out the insoles for thinner ones.

Boots are great. Had a slight issue with the zipper on one the first day, it broke. I reached out to Optics Planet and heard nothing Contacted the manufacturer and that day a replacement pair was shipped and in route. So boots 4 Stars Optics Planet 1 Star

First off I have to say it was well worth the wait for these boots. They are very comfortable, very light, and very ruggedly built. If you are looking for a boot that does it all, these are the boots for you.I would say they are the love child of Salomon Quest 4D GTX and a pair of Nikes. Sizing is true and is my go to boot from now on.
