Excellent brand, good quality even though I was a little disappointed it was made out of plastic but it feels sturdy. The Red Dot does an excellent job for what it was designed for and the best thing out of this product, it's warranty.

I'm a longtime fan of Viridian—not just because I'm from Minnesota, where they're based, but because their products have always impressed me. The first item I bought from them was a laser/light combo over 12 years ago, and it's still going strong without a single issue.
Recently, I was excited to see them enter the optics game. I already own several models, including the RFX11, RFX15, and RFX35. This particular RFX sight is essentially the same as the RFX11—which I absolutely love—but branded by Walther. It's an excellent optic: lightweight, easy to mount, super reliable, and always dead-on for me.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- battery life
- cost
- reliable

I see a few reviews about the material and even though its polymer, it doesn't feel cheap. Its a very strong material, I have already shot it through 100 rounds and its very sturdy and holds up. I say don't knock it until you try it, its a great price for what you get unless you want to pay $300-$500 for something that may be "Slightly" better.

I bought this as soon as it came out and mounted it right away which was super easy to do. It has shake wake feature so I was worried it would kill my battery fast but I haven't even had to change it yet.

I am actually very pleased with this green dot. I have this mounted on my Walther and it looks like its a part of my gun even though its a polymer housing. Great design, sits nice, tight and flushed. Green dot looks great through the glass.

Thought this would be perfect on my Walther WMP, but not so. none of the plates that came with the the pistol will fit this sight. the Veridian does come with it's own plates that fit the WMP,however it is too high to cowitness the pistol sights, , the battery located underneath is not a big problem, however it is not sealed to environment, and no sealing gasket was supplied with the dot sight. Also, when torquing the dot screws to Veridians specs of 8-10 inch pounds, the base of the dot sight warps up exposing the underside to the environment.Another problem that I discovered is that since this dot sight is auto brightness,in daylight it is too bright, and at night in total darkness, the dot completely disappears. I will never buy another auto brightness control dot sight again!
Cons:
- Bottom mount battery
- poor auto brightness control
- always on with no cover
- bottom open to atmosphere
- made of poor material

The polymer was a bit too cheap feeling for me. It was extra light as well.
