Much Better Than The Original

I had the original version of this, and while it was okay, it wasn't as sturdy. This is a great upgrade, no issue. Happy it was updated!

I would recommend optics planet and the viridian optic mount.
Most Helpful Negative Review Nice mount but fit loose on picatinny rail.
Bought this for my AR looks great with scope. But it fits loose on my rail. It slides slightly to the left and right and between the slots on the picatinny rail. Really not happy to have received this. I tried it on 2 other guns and had the same issue. Will be contacting support on this one.

cant beat it at this price

I bought this to match some Viridian scopes I got on clearance and for 30 dollars this is a steal. The metal is of good quality and don’t listen to the reviews about difficulty with installation- that’s overwhelmingly user error. Tighten it paying attention and you’ll be just fine. I highly recommend at this price. Holds zero and holds firm on the rail. What else do you want? I hope this gives someone else confidence even at the 30 dollar price point.

Works will for me! Paired this with the Viridian Mylex 1-8x scope.

This mount worked well for me to mount up a Viridian Mylex 1-8x scope. When bolts are torqued correctly, this scope holds zero no prob. Even when I swap uppers and lowers. No problem. Always at zero after sighting it in the first time. Make certain to torque the pic rail bolts to 65-in/lb. I have two of these in operation on two separate AR rifles and I have no complaints what so ever for the price I paid. Bargain!

Perfect for my needs. I’m not shooting in the Olympics, just paper at 100 yards. Very inexpensive, attaches my Vortex 30mm scope to an AR upper. Works as designed for me. Can’t beat it at this price.

Do NOT buy this mount.

Attempted to mount a Vortex Strike Eagle 30mm scope using this mount. When torquing screws to recommended setting (18 in-lb), both mount rings cracked, and Optics Planet never respond to my request for a refund.
