My v 5 Viridian laser works really well !!! I have zero complaints .. I can pick it up on" pulse " on a bright sunlight day really well.. I am an excellent shot with a handgun with iron sights in both range shotting and combat.. This enhancement {ECR} and greeen laser are really unbeatable.. For the iron sights " purist " join us in the real world... I used a handgun in combat [ actual ] and pride myself on the thousands of rounds I have shot acurately in practice..The other "enhancement " I would share with you is build your own ECR {1} go to the hardware store and buy a packet of small magnets.. {2}take your favorite holster and put the magnet over [ON } the ECR switch .. {3} attach the magnet to the holster {4} scratch your head that you have just built an ECR holster { cousin Bubba will 'splain it to you slow ones } God bless America and those of you who were wounded in her service....

This is a nice addition to my XD-S. It was easy to install, looks good and the green laser is very visible. The only con I have about this is that it needs better instructions on how to sight it in and which way to turn the set screws. Other than that, it is a very nice piece of equipment. I highly recommend this if you own an XD-S

This laser is very bright and good visibility in day light red laser don't. Fits the gun very well no slop in the fit and was easy to set the laser to the gun. The only thing I can fine wrong with this laser is the batter life.

This is the second laser I have purchased. The first one was a red one of a different brand which did not work well outside in the daylight. I cannot say the same of this one, I have been very pleased with how it preforms. It is extremely visible in all light conditions and preforms well while shooting the weapon. The on/off button is a little hard to use but the Reactor feature more than makes up for this and is another good reason to purchase this laser. I would definitely recommend this product.

The order was processed quickly and delivered ahead of promised date(one day early), The laser was packaged in a molded plastic container inside a well cushioned box and arrived in excellent condition. All parts were there including tiny tools for sighting in the gun.

Installation was easy and hard to mess up. At first, I thought the housing was a bit flimsy, but as the unit was attached to my gun, the unit became stronger, using the gun for added strength.

Sighting in was easy, although I was a bit surprised that the laser was so far off the mark to begin with(Sights and laser were off with the laser near 6 inches low at 10yds. Horizontal adjustment was spot on.) I inspected my mounting, loosened everything and retightened the unit. I adjusted the laser using the included tool and the unit has been stable for about 300 rounds. The dot is BRIGHT and easily seen in the sun as advertised, much better than my old green unit.

Both the store and the product were great. No Issues.

Laser works very well. The instructions for installation could be a little more clear on the mounting. Only real problem is the holster it no longer fits the XDS 45 holster and the one in the kit is more for law enforcement than conceal carry. it is a great product and is recommended for use.

Love my XDS-9 for CCW during the day, but at night, with only the fiber optic for a sight, it makes it hard to acquire a target and score a vital. I opted for a green sight over red - but man, is this thing bright! This thing will light up the entire room, so, make sure you keep it holstered until target is in sight or you will give up your position. That being said, as soon as you draw, your target is lit up like a XMAS tree and is no match for a quick double-tap! Super easy to install, very light weight and the design is superior to other lasers that are more bulky and not as streamlined. Very happy with this R5. My only gripe which is not technically a bad thing, would be if you could dial down the brightness a smidge. This R5 offers a steady stream or pulse mode which tends to dim the spillage of light omitted (slightly) and might be a better solution- overall I give it a 9 out 10!
