Joe's Review of Viridian Weapon Technologies E Series Ruger LCPII Green Laser
Got a green version for my Ruger 57. Installed it, turned it on, turned it off. Turned it back on to adjust the laser and the on/off switch broke. Worked great for exactly 38 seconds.
No way is this worth the money. I have several viridian products and they have been great. This item is junk and Viridian should have released this design in its current form.
Pros:
- Compact and well integrated design
- sturdy fitment on the pistol
- Lightweight
Cons:
- All plastic housing and not weathertight. Definitely would not stand up to any sort of abuse or outdoor weather.
- Minuscule battery which requires you to literally unscrew the two halves of the laser to replace.
- Plastic button on/off is a very flimsy circuit interrupt type with very little tactile feel.
