This is a great laser. The price of the laser is good. It fits perfect on my Ruger 57. The green laser is much better to see at night and day. My plans in the further is to put this type of lasers on more of my hand guns.

Performance surprise

I initially hesitated to purchase the Viridian Weapon Tech E Series because, I’m almost embarrassed to say, it was so inexpensive. I’m used to paying much more. The quality and performance of this product has truly impressed me. Not just when brand new, either. It’s already been put through trial by fire and come out strong. The green laser is extremely visible in bright daylight, and it completely holds zero.
I couldn’t ask for more, at any price. Thanks, Viridian, and thanks Optics Planet for coming through again.

Hellcat Owner

Got the one for my hellcat and it wraps around the trigger guard perfectly. Screws were easy to take in and out and very easy to adjust, they give you all the wrenches you need. Laser luminates very nicely! Great for target shooting

Pistol Laser

Installed the Viridian laser on a Ruger Security 380. Looks and functions great. I have purchased other Viridian products from Optics Planet in the past and all of them are great items

Green "E" Laser

After 3 attempts I was finally able to mount the Laser on the Ruger Security.
IF the battery doesn't seat properly, U will NEVER lose the case gap in the center.
Oh, the battery mounts backwards of what U would think, negative is against the laser
housing.

Nice fit and funciton

It fits very well, looks like it is part of the gun. The only gripe I have is that you have to remove it to replace the batteries...
Have not had it that long, but looks good, turns on when I press the button. Have not sighted it in yet, but will get around to it eventually. I got this mostly because I got the supp that covers the sights... I will use it for popping critters that come around at night...

Finally the Green arrived in this model

I was waiting for the Green color laser in this model for my Ruger.. The Green colored light is far easier for me to see than a Red colored light.. Yes, I can see the RED as well.. However, Green is easier to see..
Installation was very easy to install for I have one on another model..

Flimsy, unreliable switch

The first time I purchased this item I was sent two halves that didn't match. The laser side was supposed to be for a Ruger-57, but was not correct. the non-functioning side was correct! After a couple of go-arounds (Viridian said in their brochure to return defects to them, which I did, but then said they couldn't expedite it because I didn't order from them!!!) I finally got the correct one back and it worked through two on-off cycles, then required taking apart to get to work again. After several cycles of this, the laser switch stop working and I've been unable to get it to work again. The switch is VERY flimsy and unreliable.

Since this was the only laser I could find to fit a Ruger 57, I am up the proverbial creek without a paddle. Total waste of money, would not recommend at all!

Save your money for gen 2

My laser worked until I turned it off. Then it wouldn’t turn back on. Now every time I want to use it, I have to completely unscrew the two halves and completely take out the battery from the tray and reinstall it. Then it will work 1 time on and repeat this cycle once I turn it off. I will echo what the last review said; ALL OF THIER OTHER PRODUCTS THAT I OWN ARE GREAT…..NOT THIS ONE!!!
