Seems nice - Viridian Weapon Technologies RFX45 1x15.5-24mm Green Dot Sight

This unit has caught a lot of flack online for its looks. I'm a function over fashion person, so that doesnt bother me, albeit it looks like the Winnebago of pistol sights. Read the specs before you judge as its shorter in height than a Steiner MPS, but slightly longer.

Pros:
-Green dot is my personal favorite, so it has that
-Seems well built, even though there's no testing to back it up
-The pro kit comes with multiple pistol mounting plates and 2 risers for a pic rail for rifles/carbines
-Mine had ZERO parallax shift on the dot

Con:
-The green dot is huge(5moa), which is about 2X the size of the Steiner RDS. If your target is inside 35ish yards(and big enough), it shouldnt be an issue. For me, the dot isnt that crisp either. Its not bad, but its noticeable.

THE BIGGEST CON/Elephant in the room:
-Country of origin. Before spending over $400 to get this, I did my home homework. There were 3, 5 star reviews here already praising it. I did a Google search for(and I qoute)"viridian rfx45 made in" and the first thing that popped up was(quote) "the USA
Viridian products are designed and built in the USA.Jan 18, 2023" with Viridian's official website as the source of that info. On the bottom of the box, in caps it says:"DESIGNED IN MINNESOTA/MADE IN CHINA".

To be fair, I don't mind it being made in China, as most things(especially optics related stuff) is. What I DO care about is the company blatantly lying about its products. While it seems like a nice unit, I'm still sending back for a refund to put towards a Steiner MPS which doesn't lie and has a good/proven track record.
