Vism AK Grip
Its an ok grip to get your AK CA compliant. I don't like the thumb rest position on it should be lower. But for the best CA compliant grip you need to get a AK thumb grip with a strike industries AK fin.
Perfect for that Cali Compliant AK
This is an absolutley awesome grip for those that are looking to make their AK California Compliant. Comfortable, and the thumb rest is a nice touch.

Thinner Than You Expect but Works Well
First thing's first. The shelf is perfect. Just the right size, shape, and location.
The rest of the grip is surprisingly thin and hard even at the texture sections.
When you have your hand on it with the thumb in place, it keeps your hand shaped exactly like you're about to start a thumb war game.
Your thumb is up high, pressing down and wedging the shelf into the curve, which leaves your 4 other fingers perfectly pressing up against the left side of the grip textures as counter pressure to lock it all in.
It's a little uncomfortable at first for your thumb but ultimately feel like a much better hold of the grip than having no shelf at all.

Did Not Fit Zastava ZPAP
The grip did not fit my Zastava ZPAP. The angle of the long grip screw did not match the angle on the receiver. I tried filling material to get it to line up, but was unsuccessful. If it had fit, I still wouldn't have used it. The thumb rest is in a terrible place when using a triangle stock.

Decent fin grip
Fin grips are no fun, that being said, this is probably my favorite option for my AK. The thumb shelf allows you to really get a decent purchase on the grip. My only complaint is that the grip is not flush with the bottom of the trigger guard and wedges my middle finger between the grip and the guard.
