Fun Toy for Planking
I would highly discourage anyone from using this as a build for your primary home defense/shtf rifle. Having said that, it’s a joy to use if you want a range day gun for planking and for laughs and giggles. I put this on a rifle I built from the ground up, so please duly note that.
Halo Project Gun
I always stayed away from AR cause of DI. Not a fan of cleaning carbon. But this kit inspired me to make a Halo theme AR. I combined it with an Adams Arms piston upper. I had to dremmel room for the piston and picatinny iron sight. Despite all the metal I removed from the hand guard, it has remained solid. Project was a success. I an very happy it worked out. Now I just need to paint. The price level encourages you to not be afraid to mess up. If I use DI it would have been easy. I just wanted something special.

Really cool ...but a real pain
But this kid to dress up my basic rifle watched several review videos before purchasing seems like an easy install sadly it was not stock was a very tight fit on a mill spec buffer did not align very well to the grip had to use rubber mallet The Carrie handle site does not line up properly with front sight and the mag well does not fit forged Anderson and spikes lowers tried it on both had to grind away at the Anderson lower to make it fit wasn’t risking it with the spikes lower and had to take off the front sling point for the handguard to fit properly so don’t buy this unless you’re willing to put some work into making it fit
