This item does not specify that it is not mil spec. It is indeed commercial spec which is larger diameter. It is well made and works for the intended purpose. The vism stock i bought with it does not fit it. It can be maybe unintentionally missleading as the vism stock is milspec. This item, again, is commercial spec. The tube is bigger than milspec for someone who may not know the difference.
