This item does not specify that it is not mil spec. It is indeed commercial spec which is larger diameter. It is well made and works for the intended purpose. Get the tube, get the folding stock left side folding was my choice, pistol grip adapter. It all adds a little bit of length but it works well no wobble.

Not good for the intended pistol grip adapter, but can be useful for other setups like the VRF14.

The product this is mainly for is not good. But the tube still has uses. Unfortunately the screw that is for the tube comes inside the pistol grip adapter.

Does not work with all braces

The item is great however like others have pointed out this is not mil spec. I bought this to work with my SBA5 brace and the buffer tube is too thick. Others say the SBA3 brace fits good so looks like ill have to buy another brace which is not ideal.

vism tube adaptor

Perfect fit, very sturdy, if one were looking to add a commercial spec (milspec is a tighter fit) brace to their VRF14 12 gauge.
I was able to slide a milspec brace on without adjustment, but your results may vary, depending on the brace.
