This item does not specify that it is not mil spec. It is indeed commercial spec which is larger diameter. It is well made and works for the intended purpose. vrf14 brace tube

This makes your VRF 14 able to have a pistol brace on it. It holds up well, but the brace on the tube is pretty tight and doesn’t adjust very well but for the price of it it’s well worth it for what it does.

Excellent fit

This goes straight into the ria vrf14 once you remove the back cap. You use your factory screw to install this. You do not need the folding adapter also this works just fine by itself but you don't have the folding option.

I have searched for this part and am totally satisfied with it. Just remember that it requires a "Commercial Spec" buttstock. The more common "Mil Spec" will not work. Buy the right parts and enjoy this addition to your firearm.
