Good idea, bad design.
There is a serious flaw with the design of the front plate carrier. The buckles for the shoulder straps that attach the front carrier to the backpack are at the top of the backpack. If you adjust the straps before placing the front carrier back inside the backpack, the straps aren't long enough to let the carrier fit. If you leave the straps long so the carrier will fit, the friction slot of the buckles won't allow you to tighten the straps when it's deployed. 100% grey personizable basic llbean looking pack with FAST(secomds)deployment
Recieved it and saw the negative reviews so the first things I looked at were the buckles and so on(one guy said it couldn't be adjusted and stowed) it def can but you have to be smarter than the pack, granted the pack is pretty slick but it has everything u need to adjust properly while stowing so you can pull and go. Also you can't beat the price for armor alone its a steal but if you know someone with a 3d printer or can sew they can make you all you need to customize it anyway you want. Safelife sells cummerbund 5x7"hyperline plates that would go perfect with this. 70$ a pair. If you get it on sale thats full armor for under 200... nuts...

WORKS AS ADVERTISED IT IS A GREAT PIECE OF PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. NO ONE CAN SEE THAT IT IS BULLET RESISTANT AS THERE ARE NO MARKINGS ON THE BACKPACK. IT IS EASY TO USE. AND VERY DISCREET. i WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR ALL PEOPLE IN SCHOOLS, OR PUBLIC LIFE. WELL MADE STURDY

Very good idea; lackluster execution
I thought too good to be true. I ordered and my initial thought was what an awesome product. So do others. I would love to demonstrate this item more, however the quality of the product prevents me. The stitching to the stress points should be reinforced, especially stitching on the straps and button tabs on the top of the pack where the front plate deploys. The pack itself should be made of ballistc nylon and the bottom of the pack made of CORDURA. I would have gladly paid $100 more if the aforementioned was utilized.
