I have flexcore armor like the soft armor for concealed wrap around body type. and it just barly fit my 2xls so that was a bonus definitely worried about longevity. but just in takeing it on and off repeated getting it set up with parts makeing sure I'm comfortable. I can feel the teeth on the hook looseing it strength. so will be buying a quick release system and the shoulders ar so bulky but that's just bueing nit picky for anyone looking for similar answers
Pros:
- Cheap
- molle
- Great entry
- Fits flexarmor
- Size 2xl
Cons:
- Cumberband is not qd
- Bulky shoulders
Best Used for:
- Enthusiast
- Amateur training
- Amateur security

Fantastic starting point for getting accustomed to plate carriers. Easily fits 11x14 front + back plates and two 6x8 side plates. The engineering and design of the carrier has all of the features that you would expect from a top of the line carrier and has attachment locations for abdominal, lower back, deltoid, and neck accessories. Be aware that the price tag means there will be a few excess nylon strings hanging around, but I was more than happy to do some nice trimming on my own time. It really made me appreciate the engineering more afterwards and it looks fantastic after you do your own quality control check on it. A few things to be aware of: The back patch loop section only measures 3"x6", so you will have some overhang if you have a larger identifier patch there. The front patch loop section measures a full 3"x12". Plenty of Molle webbing for all of your preferred pouches. The shoulder pads are removable and have the standard side-release buckles within. The cummerbund is a little notorious and may be difficult to adjust, but chances are that you will take it out and have a look at it, adjust comfortably, and put it back in. Overall, as a first-time vest buyer, I am extremely happy with this and will be looking forward to NcStar's future Vism vests.
Pros:
- features
- accessory customizeablilty
- professional appearance
- plate capacity
Cons:
- Trimming might be required
Best Used for:
- Back up
- First build
- extra options

Not a bad product but quality is not much to say. It can hold both a 11 x14 AR 550 Level III+ Hard Plate and a
11x14 Level III A Soft Armor. Big issue were the cummerbund had to be hold in place by plastic sip ties.
When with armor it is comfortable but the side cummerbund will not cover you completely. The mesh cooling material didn't last a week, before having problems.
Cons:
- material quality and single stitch

I love Vism products. I can use this but am still looking for a vest that has a Velcro back or stationary for the cummerband, Please keep me informed of any and all Ncstar Vism products and updates. I will also purchase some attachments for my vest.

This a very well made, durable, and very comfortable. It breathes well and fits 11x14 plates very well. This is just as good if not better then some of the more expensive ones. I am a pretty big guy at 6'7" 288 and the adjustability of this makes it easy to fit, even us larger individuals .
Pros:
- Durability
- Strong
- breathable
- Adjustability
Best Used for:
- Law Enforcement
- Law abiding citizen training

This vest is very nice! It was more than I expected for what I paid. I purchased the M-XXL and normally wear M or sometimes L shirts. The vest has plenty of adjustment in the cumberbund with 3 pull buckle straps in the back and also lots of Velcro. I placed my soft body armor into it with no problem and it held it securely. It also has pockets front and back that i can place my rifle rated plates into. The first day I got it I wore it for about 9 hours and it was cool and comfortable. I removed the padded shoulder straps for a cleaner look. Love the vest is better than my other carrier that I paid 2x the price for. The only thing I would change is the size of the Velcro patch on the back as it is kind of small but that's not a deal breaker. Molle gear went right on!
Pros:
- Price, comfort, quality materials
Cons:
- Small Velcro patch on back
