The Laser on this unit is the brightest I've seen. Very easy to see day or night. I have not taken it to the range to see if it holds zero but I soon as I do, I'll add to this post.
The Flash Light on this unit is designed for "pitch black" situations. It is not very bright but is good enough to help you see in pitch black situation and not affect your eyes ability to see in darkness. Do expect it to light up the room. One nice thing I discovered using the flash light in complete darkness, it helps you see your front sight; provided you see your target. Flash light can be configured for Green, Red, Blue and White.
Remote cable didn't work when first plugged in. It didn't seem to be making contact but if you rotate the plug, it starts working. Has been working ever since.
