Great RMR PC 9 mount
An effective, yet inexpensive option for keeping the PC 9 zeroed in by placing the optic on the barrel! With the VISM mount on the rear sight of the barrel you don’t have to rezero the weapon after you put it together time and again because the optic is attached to the barrel not the receiver. Just two screws to remove from the rear sight, and replace with the mounts three screws. Next I mounted a Holo Sun 407C-X2 which has an RMR footprint. To finish I used a laser bore site to align it properly. The whole process took less than 5 min and it has held a nice zero thru multiple takedowns of the carbine. I highly recommend it based on my experience!

Great idea, well made
The fit was good and the installation easy. I'm using it with a Holosun 507c. I zeroed the red dot first, and then adjusted the iron sights to match. I find that the iron sights take up a fair bit of the sight picture if you wish to look over instead of through them, so I have ordered a 2.5mm riser for the Holosun. The biggest drawback to this setup is the inability to add a magnifier.

Straightforward, Simple and Effective
This mount is as basic and simple as can be. That said, it works perfectly. The Ruger PC has a rail for scope mounting, but it isn’t on the barrel. This makes repeatability an issue. This mount attaches directly to the barrel and allows for co-witness of the iron sights. This is excellent and enhances the platform significantly.
