Quality made, and just one of many AR tools I wished I had bought sooner. If you tinker with AR weapons, this should be in your toolbox as well.

Tjis worked great. I used it on my PSA ARV 9MM and had no problems.
Pros:
- Works with 5.56mm and pistol caliber uppers

I usually work on my ar’s with out the right tools out of being cheap and not wanting to buy them. Until I met a psa barrel nut. This helped tremendously in taking apart and installing everything. Barrel nut broke loose at 125pounds of torque. Glad I bought it

Simple yet great. Had to torque down my muzzle device and it's always been a chore holding the AR-15 while using a torque wrench at the same time. This tool has made it a nice, hands free experience where I don't have to worry about the stability of my weapon. Great tool for the price and does its job well. Highly recommend.

This doesn’t fit my DDM4 upper. The edge of the jig hits the star screw that holds the handguard on. I know this isn’t really their fault, but an option with a tiny notch cut out would really help on DD uppers.

Much better than my plastic 2 piece upper tools this actually gives you a solid base to work from. I love how it doesn’t touch any outside part of my upper and makes it easier to maintain the finishes on my rifles

Used it with a couple uppers, and it generally looks well. My only two complaints are that it was a bit snug, requiring some force to get it to slide inside the upper receiver, and marring the finish slightly on one. Also, the pins that engage with the takedown and pivot lugs are a bit undersized and loose, so they don't really do anything to secure the upper, but due to the design, they aren't really necessary, as the block is in two pieces that screw together and hold the upper securely even without the pins. Overall I would still recommend at this price point, and it does hold the upper securely, and works well for my use. Just be aware that you may need to grind down the back of it slightly to get it to slide in easily without marring the inside of the receiver.

Was forced to purchase the Vism vice because a had a barrel that I could not break loose. My clam shell vice block was on the verge of failure. Installed the Vism vise block on the upper receiver with the stubborn barrel nut and with the aid of a breaker bar was able to free the nut. I love the vise and will probably not use my clamshell block ever again.
