Out of tolerance, not compatible and poor customer service from vltor - Vltor AR15/M16 MUR Hammer Forged Modular Upper Receiver, Includes Shell Deflector and Forward Assist

Checked it with 4 different barrels that were all sloppy loose. Vltor wouldn’t even offer to check it out- just insisted I was wrong because their products are perfect. Add to that the fact that because it is a custom, wonky design (as are most billets) the accessories I wanted to use for offset backup sights won’t work. All in all, a very poor experience. Used it with a cheap barrel for a shirt range hog gun. Moving forward, I will stick with BCM stripped uppers- zero tolerance slip fit, compatible with everything and very well made. I don’t understand the love for these at all.
