Should have been standard equipment.
As I mention in the title, this should have been standard equipment in the 10/22. Yes, I understand the lawyers are probably circling Ruger's boardroom at all moments, but the stock way of causing you to need to almost use both hands to chamber the rifle after you have the action open is ridiculous. If there is ONE piece of gear you need (other then more mags) in your 10/22, this is it.
Great product with a smooth action
With the bolt locked back, allows the bolt to cycle with a simple pull of the charging handle. Very smooth and intuitive improvement for faster reloads. Put these in my Ruger 10/22 & Ruger Charger.

Volquartsen 10-22 auto bolt release
I just finished install on my 10-22, The install was easy with the help of instructional videos by Volquartsen & also from Brownells,this one is a slower pace[longer video] & i didn't have to replay specifics as much. Bolt release works as it is supposed to & is definitely an improvement over the factory bolt release. A Great product if you are upgrading your 10-22!

Ruger should change their 10/22s and use this design by default
it works - and takes the frustration out of using the 10/22 to slingshot the bolt - Ruger needs to get rid of this design once and for all

Didn't work
Compared both bolt release and this was a totally different size in a few areas with the top bar being thinner and not counting the notch aera that it was replacing. Caused my bolt to jam up. Now this was a older 10/22 trigger pack (2015) so that could be the issue.

10/22 Must have!
This is an exceptional product for your 10/22! Installation was super easy, Volquartsen has a video that shows installation and some tips to make it easier. Function of this is perfect, makes the 10/22 operate the way it should from the factory. I feel it makes for a much better experience while shooting a great rifle.

Perfect ABR
Works well with the Kidd Trigger job and is better than the Kidd ABR because it protrudes out a little more and makes it easier to lock the bolt back when necessary. One of the best mods you can make to your 10/22.

Great product - should be in all 10/22s!
These are pretty much essential for a 10/22. Ruger should put these in at the factory. Easy to install and makes bolt release SO much easier. I put these in all 3 10/22s I bought that didn't already have them (bought 2 used with them already installed).
