Q's Review of Volquartsen Firearms CNC-Machined Bolt for Ruger 10/22 and 22LR
This bolt is so smooth and polished, I have not seen anything like it, however I am hesitant about recommending it at this time.
I tried this bolt in a KIDD supergrade and after the first day at the range I had to get the barrel replaced as there was damage to the extractor ramp, which had bent into the chamber. Additionally, I noticed that the extractor seems to have left a nick on the receiver’s ejection port. This bolt does not seem to play well with KIDD parts!!
I plan to use it for another build with a different receiver and I am hoping it will work since it’s so nice and smooth
