A "Must have" upgrade
This is a must have product!!! It makes it WAY easier to get the mags out of the gun. It's even a great and more reliable upgrade to the ones that come in the charger series.well worth the price and super easy to install.

An improvement over stock and aftermarket
Bought a pair of these releases for a new build and to replace the mag release on an existing build. These releases have better leverage than the stock release. They also have better ergonomics than an aftermarket lever release. The problem with the lever release is that your hand is not in the right spot to catch the mag. It’s great if you want to pick the mag up off the ground. To not drop the mag you end up doing the three handed fumble with the gun. With this mag release you grasp the mag with your fingers while simultaneously tripping the release with your thumb. Works great and it’s a very natural body motion. Works with both rotary and banana mags. The only gripe I have is that the release does shield the bolt hold open somewhat. Extended releases are ok, but the Kidd release was too short to set easily.
