Best trigger for Ruger Mark IV
The Volquartsen competition kit for the Ruger Mark IV is awesome! This kit is super easy to install and has a huge positive impact on trigger function. Before installing the kit my trigger was mediocre at best. I also had some extraction issues. After installing the kit my trigger is super light and I have had zero issues with extractions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve the performance of their Mark IV.

Night and day!
So first let’s talk install difficulty. For non professional gunsmiths. If a Glock drop in trigger is a 2 out of 10 in difficulty, this install is a 6-7 out of 10. A lot of parts to keep track of. I will say, the instructions are good. YouTube helps too. Now there is one major problem that many have run in to with this project. This problem is Ruger’s fault. The safety lever screw, where the removal is one of the first steps in this job, is overtightened from the factory. Great Trigger!
Dropped this trigger in 2 guns. Super easy install and great precision with the pre and post travel screws. Not long to dial in the pre and post travel screws as well. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive option to improve their 22 trigger!

Buttery Soft
This trigger is everything that I expected. The install can be technical at points, but overall straightforward. Love this mod for the Mark IV. The pull is smooth and presets can micro tune for your preference.

MARK 4 COMPETITION KIT
Plain and simple...It is a must have. The kit makes it a complete different gun. Oustanding product. If price is an issue...start saving.

Ruger Mark IV trigger UPGRADE
Game changer, awesome upgrade. 4.5 lb factory pull reduced to 2.25 and could do less, left it there will recheck later. Definitely recommend.

Well worth the money!
This kit was relatively easy to install and makes a huge difference. The stainless trigger matches my stainless Hunter model perfectly. I highly recommend installing this kit in your Mark IV.

Night and day improvement
My Ruger Mark IV 22/45 needed improvement to it's factory trigger. The factory trigger needed way too much pressure which was detrimental to my target grouping. After installing the Volquartsen Competition kit, trigger pull was not only cut in half, but it is now smooth as silk. After watching the Volquartsen installation video several times, I did the swap. This was my first trigger job and it worked out great. The Competition kit also included a new extractor and firing pin. I definately recommend this upgrade. It was worth every penny. Optics Planet is awesome too. The price was great and the free shipping was fast.

Perfect pull with alot of adjustment for personal liking
Installation can be tricky in mk4 22/45, watch every video you can find. Trigger pull is consistent and light. You can adjust the pre travel big or small. Great set up.

Huge improvement.
This kit is far superior to tandemkross, the part fit and finish are unmatched. My 1st trigger installation on a pistol and it went very smooth thanks to Volquartsen installation video. No fitting of parts was required and pre/over-travel adjustments were simple and have held firm for over 1000 rds so far. Definitely a lighter pull weight but the most noticeable difference is the clean sharp break and short reset vs the OEM gritty rolling break and long reset.
